AMT is reformed on the mechanical transmission which is now produced. It retains most of the original assembly parts and only changes the shift lever part of the manual operation system. AMT gearbox is not perfect either. Its disadvantages are non power shift, poor shift comfort, and power interruption in the shift process, which makes the extreme speed performance bad in the shift process. However, this can be made up by electronic control software.
